Te tūranga – The role
The Financial Stability Group plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and responding to risks and vulnerabilities in New Zealand’s financial system. This includes supporting macro-prudential policy decisions, strengthening supervisory approaches, and ensuring financial institutions are appropriately regulated and monitored. The purpose of the Supervisory Frameworks and Systems team is to enable modern, risk-based and insight driven supervision of regulated entities through efficiency, consistency and digital capability.
The group’s work ensures that risks are well understood, effectively communicated, and translated into clear policy and supervisory actions. This supports senior decision-making, cross-Bank committees, and the Reserve Bank’s broader financial stability objectives.

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $155,630 to $168,599 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
